Could you please tell us about Tiggy and how he came to join your family?
I was walking on the beach with mums dog, and I met a woman on the beach who was walking her dog, we started talking and we walked for a couple of hours together, she told me that she was fostering an old dog, and I said that I would like to meet him. The rest is history! Tiggy is 15 years old, and does act like an old boy, but certainly doesn’t look like one!
Why did you choose to adopt Tiggy?
It felt like I needed him as much as he needed me. He didn’t have the best start in life, so it feels great to be able to provide him with a secure home.
How has your life changed since you adopted Tiggy?
Even though he is old, I am much more active than I was before! We go for two walks a day, and I feel like I’ve got a little buddy with me all the time.
Does Tiggy have any quirks?
He barks constantly if I leave the room, so I often have to take him to the toilet with me!
He goes crazy over chicken, so he will stand in the kitchen and bark when there is chicken in the oven.
Does Tiggy influence your work in any way?
Tiggy comes to work with me every day, and manages to get his photo taken in pretty much every photo shoot we have. He gets me away from my desk for parts of the day when he needs to go outside, which I’m sure is very good for my mental health and stops me getting square eyes haha.
Whats the best thing about having Tiggy in your family?
He’s my best bud, and we hang out all day, every day.
